JustPhysio is excited to offer a unique opportunity for a self-motivated and creative Highly Specialist Physiotherapist to join our client, working with 19-25 year olds
This is the sole physiotherapy role within their service, giving you the chance to shape and lead the development of their physiotherapy provision from the ground up. You'll be fully supported by the leadership team and benefit from expert external clinical supervision, ensuring you feel confident and connected in your role.
You'll be working as part of a well-established multi-disciplinary team across two specialist colleges for young adults with learning disabilities (ages 19-25), located in Kent and South London . The therapy team is deeply embedded in both settings, with strong relationships across staff and leadership, and a collaborative culture that supports innovation and creativity.
Caseloads are small and manageable, allowing you to deliver high-quality, flexible physiotherapy support tailored to the needs of each college. You'll have the opportunity to:
* Lead universal and targeted projects promoting general fitness and wellbeing.
* Support students with more complex needs to engage in physical activity and disability sports, both within and beyond the college environment.
* Help young adults prepare for life after college through meaningful, movement-based interventions.
In addition to your clinical work, you'll be part of the leadership team, contributing to service-wide clinical excellence and governance. Your role will ensure our physiotherapy provision is evidence-based, impactful, and aligned with best practice.

To develop robust governance structures to support the safe and clinically effective delivery of service within the specialist clinical area.*
To co-ordinate delivery of therapy provision within this specialist area, identifying areas of service development, and in liaison with the other Clinical Lead Therapists and Assistant Director / Director, implementing actions plans to address these areas
To act as a source of clinical expertise within specialist area
To provide a specialist therapy service to identified educational settings, including college provisions for young adults with severe/complex learning disability, commissioning support from our client , with appropriate support and supervision.
