Job Title: MSK Physiotherapist & Marketing Support
Job Type: Full-Time/ Part time
Position Overview:
Our Client looking for a passionate and dynamic MSK (Musculoskeletal) Physiotherapist to join their thriving clinic. In this unique role, you'll not only provide top-tier clinical care but also help grow the practice through exciting marketing, community engagement, and business development initiatives. You'll be supported with continuous professional development (CPD), regular team meetings, and dedicated admin time to help you thrive.
As a key part of the team, you'll have the opportunity to work with a wide range of patients, from professional dancers and desk workers to manual laborers and performers. They are proud to support the local theatre community, providing care to international artists who come to town, offering you the chance to work with diverse and high-profile clientele.
Clinical Responsibilities:
1. Patient Assessment and Treatment:
Conduct thorough assessments of musculoskeletal conditions, including soft tissue injuries, joint issues, and spinal problems.
Develop personalised treatment plans for patients and guide them through rehabilitation.
Use a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercise prescription, ultrasound, shockwave therapy, and other interventions.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
2. Building and Managing Your Caseload:
Actively grow and manage your own caseload of MSK patients.
Provide ongoing treatment and progress assessments.
Marketing & Business Development:
1. Blog Writing:
Regularly write informative and engaging blogs related to musculoskeletal health, rehabilitation, injury prevention, and other relevant topics.
Work with the clinic's marketing team to optimize content for SEO and patient engagement.
2. Social Media Content Planning:
Plan and create content for the clinic's social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
Create engaging posts that promote clinic services, patient success stories, health tips, and upcoming events.
3. Marketing Content Collaboration:
Work alongside the marketing team to create compelling visual and written content that reflects the clinic's values and services.
Assist in creating promotional materials such as posters, email newsletters, and flyers.
4. In-House Videos:
Plan and collaborate on creating educational videos, exercises, and treatment demonstrations for patients.
Assist in the production of video content for social media and the clinic's website.
5. Local Business Outreach & Referral Schemes:
Establish and nurture relationships with local businesses for referral partnerships.
Set up referral schemes with local gyms, fitness centres, chiropractors, and other health practitioners.
Coordinate visits to local businesses to promote services and foster collaborative relationships.
Administrative & Operational Tasks:
1. Patient Communication:
Reach out to new, existing, and past patients to encourage re-engagement, offer updates on services, and remind them of ongoing care options.
Use personalized emails, phone calls, or automated text reminders, depending on the best communication method.
2. Stock & Equipment Management:
Ensure stock levels of consumables (e.g., ultrasound gel, towels) are maintained and reordered in a timely manner.
Monitor clinic supplies and maintain proper inventory records.
3. Stocktaking:
Perform regular stocktakes of all clinic supplies and equipment, including consumables, to ensure adequate levels.
Report any stock discrepancies or needs to the clinic manager
Qualifications:
Must be a qualified physiotherapist with a degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
Post-graduate certifications in associated MSK physiotherapy modalities- not essential (e.g, acupuncture, manual therapy) are a plus.
Experience:
Proven experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy practice.
Experience working in a private practice setting or multidisciplinary team is highly desirable.
Marketing & Business Development:
Previous experience with social media content creation and management.
Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing strategies.
Excellent written communication skills (blogging, email communication).
Technical Skills:
Comfortable with technology for patient management software, social media, and video content creation.
Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other administrative tools.
Other Skills:
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive, self-starter attitude and the ability to think creatively.
