Our client is privately owned and is a 36 bedded nursing home. At any time, it has up to 10 short term / respite rooms dedicated to patients exiting hospital who are recuperating and rehabilitating before returning home. Our client is looking for physiotherapy input to assist the long-term residents maintaining their mobility and strength and with the short-term residents to assist recovery from hospital stays and orthopaedic operations. The physiotherapist will be part of a strong well-staffed care team with 24 hr RGN cover. The physiotherapist will access residents and then implement either short term treatment or long-term on-going treatment depending on the resident's needs. They will also help in running group classes for residents. They will need to enter notes after assessments and treatment and where needed supply discharge reports.
