Our client in Scotland is looking for a Physiotherapist to join their team.
They are looking for someone to join their team and they are flexible to whether you would like to be based in Dundee or St Andrews or both!
One of their clinics is based in the beautiful town of St Andrews on the east coast of Scotland. It is the home of golf with access to surrounding beaches and countryside, the town has a wonderful buzz about it. Having the most sunshine hours in Scotland certainly helps!
Their spacious clinic room gives their clinicians and clients access to top class gym and rehabilitation facilities.
You will work with top performance athletes and sports organisations, and St Andrews and surrounding areas populations. Their Physiotherapists also work alongside the Occupational Health service to provide Physiotherapy support to staff.
You will be part of a large team of Physiotherapists and Sports Massage Therapists who are based in both Dundee and St Andrews.
Their Dundee base is bright and spacious with nine treatment rooms, a beautiful Pilates studio and a separate rehabilitation room. Covid-19 has brought challenges but with stringent infection control methods and risk assessments in place they remain open for face-to-face consultations and also offer virtual consultations to their clients. Since April 2020 all their Pilates classes have been delivered virtually via Zoom with great success.
Dundee is an exciting vibrant city, with a population of 150,000, 2 universities with impressive research centres, a growing number of great pubs and restaurants, sports clubs, easy access to the surrounding beaches and countryside. It's a great place to live! It is riding on a wave of positivity and regeneration. The recently opened V&A design museum has turned the eyes of the world on us.
As a business they support their staff and they all encourage each other, focusing on high quality, evidence based practice. There are opportunities for funded and supported CPD. If you join them you must be willing to participate in thrit in-service programmes, peer review sessions and personal development time.
They know that looking after staff looks after their clients and if that means bottomless biscuit jars and tea and coffee on tap, then they are on it!
All applicants are ideally 2 years qualified, HCPC registered, CSP members, friendly, supportive, a team worker with a positive outlook. Pilates and acupuncture qualifications are also desirable.
Salary dependent on experience. Private medical insurance and pension provided. Maternity and paternity pay plus paid annual leave and sick leave is included.
