Our client is looking for a Physiotherapist to join their team.
Our company is a specialist supplier in the UK of the Mollii Suit, an existing and unique medical electro-stimulation garment for adults and children to manage motor-function disorders due to neurological or other conditions such as cerebral palsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, brain injury etc. Our client has a small, dedicated and experienced team for a suitable clinical candidate to join.
Outline Role:
-To be a clinical specialist carrying out Mollii Suit assessments and related work for supplying the Suits to patients/customers from our client . Full training on the product and the role within their sales team is provided including the commercial, documentation and other aspects.
-To support other, independent partner clinics who become trained on the Suit in the UK.
-The role includes travel from either a home or company office base within the United Kingdom (Excl Northern Ireland) as reasonably required and agreed with the Director as well as working via video link where appropriate.
-To participate in training and supervising other clinical and non-clinical company staff on the use of the Mollii Suit.
Essential Qualifications and Competencies:
-Qualified chartered physiotherapist, probably NHS Band 6 or above with at least 5 years post-qualification hands-on clinical experience treating patients with neurological conditions, ideally in both NHS and private situations. Or another similar qualification and similar experience.
-HCPC current registration or other relevant professional UK registration.
-Enhanced DBS check within 30 days of starting employment and renewed every other year.
-Current full UK driving licence.
-Clinical experience should include responsibility for assessment and therapy decisions for both adults and children with neurological conditions causing motor function disorders such as spasticity or other symptoms.
-Relevant clinical post-qualification training might include Bobath training or similar to support a wholistic approach to managing patients.
-Experience of working in both hospital and community settings ideally.
-Experience of using electrostimulation equipment clinically would be an advantage.
-Previous sales or commercial experience would be useful but is not essential.
-IT competence and literacy is required for using MS Office applications on a laptop including email and other Windows-based applications, principally for reports, customer/patient records and using the MolliiSoft software to programme Mollii Suits (included in training).

-Preparatory screening and advice of individual candidates before assessments and subsequent advice after the assessment for considering its use including providing clinical reports and video analysis.
-Planning and carrying out reviews of Suit users at appropriate intervals.
-To advise the company on relevant clinical issues for assessments and use of the product generally and participate in implementing changes where agreed.
-To support and participate in the commercial/sales and after-sales function of the business.
-To support and participate in the marketing and promotion of the Mollii Suit and other products such as at clinical conferences and trade events.
