MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
* To work as an autonomous practitioner, within scope of practice, and deliver a range of quality clinical service meeting the clinical and commercial needs of Physiolistic.
* To develop and promote a positive and dynamic image and culture to both internal and external stakeholders. At all times striving to reflect and encourage core value behaviours.( see CSP standards and our clients' core values)
* To develop and foster productive relationships with patients, local Consultants, GPs
and other key stakeholders.

KEY TASKS
Clinical
* To utilise musculoskeletal expertise to function as a Physiotherapist
managing a varied clinical caseload within designated clinical environments
* Services delivered and Clinical interventions will vary depending on the site,
patient/client needs, and clinician experience/knowledge, but may include;
assessments, advice, treatment, individual or group rehab, educational seminars,
screening, Pilates individual and group classes, Acupuncture and Sports Massage.
* To conduct all clinical interventions and related actions in line with relevant
professional standards, such as CSP, HCPC, ACPOHE, ACPSM, AACP

PERSONAL PROFILE
The role of a MSK Physiotherapist is fundamentally about the consistent delivery of high quality clinical care of musculoskeletal conditions for the patients presenting in a range of settings. Expected to be positive, constructive and approachable and carry out tasks with fairness and integrity at all times.
The MSK Physiotherapist will be expected to be well organised, conscientious and capable of managing the varied caseload of sometimes complex patients in a variety of clinical environments. An ability to work well under pressure as well as a commitment to CPD and a desire to facilitate improvement in both self and services are also key characteristics.
Excellent communication skills are vital to the role and the MSK Physiotherapist must be able to communicate confidently and effectively with both patients, colleagues and clients using a variety of mediums.

The duties of this post may be subject to variation from time to time following consultation
with the post holder.
HEALTH AND SAFETY

protective clothing and footwear, and to co-operate with the management in meeting its
responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act. Any failures to take such care or

CONFIDENTIALITY
All staff are required to respect confidentiality of all matters that they may learn relating standards and policies and where applicable, contract parameters
* To demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and to maintain a contemporary record of such activity, in line with recommendations of CSP and HCPC. To use online notes and billing system(PPS) used by the clinic.
* To attend timetabled in-service training and mandatory training programmes, as well as other educational initiatives which may be outside of contracted time
* To share their knowledge and skills and contribute to the in-service training programme and other training, educational and promotional initiatives.
* To undertake Audit projects relevant to clinical role
* To complete all patient reports required by both the clinic, patient and insurance companies in a timely manner.
Non Clinical
* Be responsible for the day-to-day organisation of the services , ensuring services are delivered efficiently and with high levels of patient satisfaction
* Manage own diary and hours as well as timesheet.
* Communicate regularly and appropriately with colleagues and staff
* Be involved in regularly reviewing and updating the services, including the collation
and presentation of basic statistical information regarding the delivery and outcomes of the
services provided.
* There may be the opportunity to work with the director in the development and delivery of existing services provided to clients and to take responsibility for delegated tasks or attend specific meetings/events
* Utilise IT systems provided to track and record patient interactions.
