JustPhysio are looking to recruit a band 6 Community Physiotherapist for a locum position with our client in Cumbria.

The pay for this position is £21- £24 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Main duties
You will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to demonstrate the ability to work in challenging environments and be committed to working autonomously, providing evidence based assessment, treatment and rehabilitation.

We work closely with Commissioners, GPs, Acute Services, Community hospitals, CHOC, County Council Adult Social Care and third sector organisations.

A key focus is to provide care in patient's own homes to prevent hospital admissions, facilitate early discharge and where possible to enable patients to manage their own conditions and remain in their own homes, enhancing both their independence and quality of life.

Patients can be seen as in-patients (in Community Hospital beds or Interim Community beds) or in patient's own homes (including residential and nursing homes).

They should also have experience of working within the community and as part of a MDT team.

They should have access to a car for every working day and be aware that for this position there can be a significant amount of the day spent in the car as we cover a large area.

It is essential for applicants to have a minimum of 1-year post-graduate experience, right to work in the UK and HCPC registration.
