We are pleased to be able to offer an exciting new opportunity for a vestibular physiotherapist at our clients' rapidly expanding Audiology Clinic South of Cambridge.They offer those clients that suffer with the feelings of dizziness, feeling faint or vertigo and imbalance or unsteadiness a neuro or audio vestibular assessment or a balance and falls assessment dependent on their symptoms so they can determine and understand their need for rehabilitation and work with them to provide a program best suited to them to help provide a solution to reduce their symptoms. The therapist will be responsible for completing these balance and vestibular assessments and setting up programs and rehab pathways for those clients.
They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated vestibular therapist to lead their clinic based vestibular service. Experience of working in private practice desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will be able to work well independently, being able to lead and develop the service, and have proven interpersonal skills.
The key roles and responsibilities are:
* To assess and treat patients with central and peripheral vestibular conditions.
* They have a full vestibular suite for diagnosis and rehab.
* Liaising with other health professionals, including report writing.
* To be able to manage own time and caseload.
* To take an active role in developing and promoting the service.
* In return they offer you the opportunity to step into a busy, well equipped and established vestibular clinic with referrals from local Consultants.
