Our client is looking for a Band 7 Clinical Lead Physiotherapist to join their team in a hybrid - clinic/community role, where you will be managing and overseeing their team of physiotherapists and ensure the delivery of high-quality physiotherapy care to their Clients, whilst maintaining your own case load. Our client provides specialist care, rehabilitation and support tailored to the individual needs of older adults (above 65 years old).
The role will involve a combination of both clinical and leadership responsibilities and as such they are looking for a dynamic and progressive physiotherapist with proven, advanced clinical skills in either MSK, Rheumatology or Older Adults. You should be a highly compassionate, motivated and experienced physiotherapist who can provide decisive and effective clinical leadership, working with other Allied Health professionals to continually develop services and provide the best possible care to Clients.
As the Clinical Lead, you will ensure the team delivers evidence-based, quality physiotherapy care, drive innovation and provide support on complex queries - as the Clinical Lead you will act as lead source of clinical expertise within the Team. You will need to take clinical standards compliance accountability, whilst supporting the physiotherapy team clinically (CPD, clinical service development, clinical 1-2-1's, mandatory training compliance, meeting KPI's), supporting recruitment and induction. The Clinical lead will also be responsible for ensuring high Client satisfaction and address areas of concern, but also liaising and working closely with the Director and Practice manager in the delivery of physiotherapy services and quality improvement.
This role will involve you working 3 days on a clinical basis and 2 days managerial / less hands on .
Essential requirements:
* BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
* Registered with Health and Care Professionals Council
* Current registration with Professional Body (CSP)
* Evidence of leadership or management roles previously, with ongoing CPD in area of clinical expertise and leadership/management
* Experience of developing services and delivering quality improvement initiatives.
* Ability to prioritise and deal with varied workload in an effective and timely manner.
* Evidence of working in a specialised rehabilitation setting (in-patient or community)
* Demonstrable experience of evidence-based practice and outcome measures
* Highly specialist knowledge and application of therapy assessments and interventions using complex level clinical reasoning
* Evidence of managing a team of staff including setting objectives, appraisal, recruitment, and disciplinary issues
