JustPhysio are looking for a HCPC registered Band 6/7 Acute Inpatients Neuro Stroke Physiotherapist to work for a Hospital in London.

Pay: £20 - £27 (paye)
Position: Acute Inpatients
Must be HCPC registered
Start Date of Placement:ASAP
End Date of Placement:Ongoing
Requirement is for a Full-Time 37.5hours, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-4.30pm

Job Requirements:
-Providing physiotherapy input for stroke patients on the acute stroke unit. This would include performing thorough neurological assessments, developing treatment plans, setting goals with patients, and initiate onward referrals for therapy as required.
-Experience working with patients with a neurological deficit, including experience on an acute stroke unit
-Experience as a physiotherapist in the UK NHS, including at least 12-18months experience as a junior physiotherapist.
-Contributing to clinical education of less experienced staff/students or assistants
-Remain updated with professional practice and new research
-Able to present information, written and orally, in a clear, concise and logical manner
-Ability to organise, prioritise and delegate
-Ability to work as team member
-Ability communicate, educate, motivate and negotiate effectively with patients/carers
-Understanding of clinical governance and its implication for services, including experience of quality issues and audit
-Ability to comprehend and work within the Trust`s policies of data protection , equal opportunities and health and safety and meet the differing needs of the patients
-Ability to carry out moderate to intense physical effort throughout the working day and carry out concurrent activities
-Ability to cope working in a stressful environment and with emotional or aggressive patients and carers
