Salary would be £41,450 pro rota.
They are known for their calming and friendly atmosphere, industry leading consultants, private doctors, excellent standards of nursing and private healthcare. My clients looking for a band 7 Hand Therapist to work 0.5 FTE. Main job responsibilities would be:
*To work as an autonomous practitioner, within scope of practice and deliver a quality clinical service; meeting the clinical and strategic needs of the hospital.
*To perform musculo-skeletal assessment of orthopaedic and plastic surgery hand patients including those with complex presentations and from this formulate a diagnosis and treatment plan, which is carried out as an autonomous practitioner.
*To interpret and analyse clinical and non-clinical facts to form accurate diagnoses in a wide range of complex musculo-skeletal, plastic and orthopaedic surgery conditions.
*To be highly competent in assessing a wide range of hand and plastic surgery conditions based on advanced theoretical knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology, often in situations where conflicting evidence is present
*To support the development of the Hand Therapy service, striving to ensure best practice, maximum efficiency and productivity and cost effectiveness.
*To participate in evidence based projects and lead in-service training sessions as required.
*To participate in audit and service reviews and evaluations as appropriate.
*To develop and foster productive relationships with key stakeholders e.g. Consultants, GPs, patient groups and other links.
*To develop and promote a positive, dynamic image and culture to both internal and external stakeholders. At all times striving to reflect and encourage the hospital's values.
