JustPhysio are looking for a HCPC registered Band 6 Physiotherapist based in South Yorkshire to start ASAP for an ongoing position.

Pay: £24 - £31 p/h (UMBRELLA)

Job Purpose:
*To work as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Locality Therapy Team providing interventions and rehabilitation that will assist to prevent hospital admissions, accelerate discharges from hospital and prevent readmission, linking closely with multi professional community teams
*To provide a specialist high standard service, including the supervision of support staff within areas of work and any other area as service development requires.
*To manage a caseload of patients and maintain associated records
*To clinically supervise and appraise students, junior and support staff
*To contribute to the delivery of services to meet the trust objectives
*To provide interventions in locations across the health community as required.
*The post holder maybe required to work their hours flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, to meet the needs of the service
Key Result Areas and Responsibilities:
*To clinically supervise, teach, mentor and co-ordinate the work of others in line with departmental guidelines delegating work as required, ensuring all clinical practice meets the required professional standards of practice.
*To contribute to monitoring the quality of work in own service area, through active involvement in clinical supervision and reporting any performance/quality issues and related risks.
*To be responsible for equipment used in carrying out duties, adhering to departmental policy and ensuring the safe use of equipment by others through teaching, training and supervision of practice.
*To ensure efficient and effective use of material resources/supplies within own area.
*To be responsible for maintaining own competency and self-development through:
*Active involvement in the PDR process
*Development and maintenance of a portfolio
*Active involvement in the in-service training programme
*Maintaining awareness and up to date knowledge as appropriate of national and professional developments/issues
*Maintenance and development of clinical skills and apply knowledge of
Evidence-based practice within designated areas, developing
Specialist knowledge of particular conditions and patient types.
