JustPhysio are looking for a band 7 Physiotherapist to work with older people in the community hospital setting on a part time basis.

Are you an experienced and dynamic Physiotherapist with specialist skills in stroke & neurological care, who is passionate about the rehabilitation of older people in the community hospital setting. Are you able to lead & manage the Physiotherapy team to assess people in a timely way, establishing rapid management plans & discharge pathways whilst being focussed on supporting rehabilitation through self-management, optimising of personal goals and independence
Our client is looking to recruit a senior Physiotherapist into the band 7 clinical specialist role on a part time 18.75 hours per week basis. The successful candidate will join a committed multidisciplinary team working across 2 community hospital wards and be part of an exciting new therapy led inpatient bedded unit pilot to support effective discharge through reabling care and therapy

As a Physiotherapist delivering NHS services with our client you will receive AfC 19/20 salary and terms and conditions, including an NHS pension. Our client will l provide you with access to a committed Learning and Development team, and they work closely with Universities and Health Education England to further your potential and support your progression. They will offer a combination of in house eLearning, workshops and courses to support your development.

You will have your BSC degree in Physiotherapy as well as having your HCPC registration.

As the Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist you will deliver individualised and evidence based care to all patients., focussing on self care and independence through rehabilitation

Working within the Multi-disciplinary team, you will work across two community ward sites including the therapy led 6 bedded unit, as part of a 7 day service. You'll care for patients and their families in the way that you believe is best, delivering our high service standards, sharing best practice, and actively improving the way we work to help us change things for the better.
