JustPhysio are recruiting for an experienced and proven Physiotherapist to work within a well-established and exceptional elderly care home based in Clapham, South West London.

This nursing home is recruiting a Lead Physiotherapist to be an active member of the therapy team, providing a physiotherapy service to the residents, as well as manage a team of seven physiotherapists, OTs and physiotherapy assistants. Our client, a registered charity, is housed in a brand new purpose built home, renowned for our excellent facilities, dedicated staff and high quality of care.

Our client cares for around approximately 200 individuals; their well-trained team of staff and volunteers ensure that each individual receives attention all day, every day. Ranked as fully compliant by independent regulator the Care Quality Commission, our care services include the full spectrum of residential, nursing, dementia and respite/short stay facilities. Residents benefit from an on-site GP surgery, pharmacy and physiotherapy and occupational therapy department as well as an exceptional activities programme.

They have wonderful facilities including a concert hall, shop, hairdressing salon, exceptional activities centre including a cyber café, ceramics section and baking area and peaceful landscaped garden, including a unique dementia garden including reminiscence areas, sensory and water features.

Essential skills for this role:
HCPC Registered Physiotherapist
Care of older people / falls experience
Experience Supervising Physiotherapists
Knowledge of a range of physiotherapy skills to treat older people using

Desirable skills for this role:
Knowledge of caring for older people in a continuing care setting
Knowledge of older people living with dementia
