The part-time and/or full-time role of senior MSK Physiotherapist is to lead the physiotherapy team at our client's expanding Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates Clinic in Ascot, Berkshire.Our client is looking for someone who is enthusiastic, dynamic, and forward thinking; you will need to be committed to developing the physiotherapy team whilst managing your own caseload of musculoskeletal patients and providing clinical leadership and operational management. Through inspiring leadership and mentoring, you will guide and empower your team to achieve improved health outcomes, enhance patient experience and foster positive working relationships with clinical staff across disciplines and at all levels, assisting in the development and success of your physiotherapy team members.
Clinical Pilates is a core element of the practice and the applicant would either be required to have previous training and experience or willing to progress this area of their skill base with in house training as well as external courses.

Salary: Equivalent to NHS band 8a/8b, dependent on level of experience.
*To work as an autonomous practitioner in providing and delivering musculoskeletal physiotherapy assessments and treatment plans to your clinical caseload of patients.
*To comply with HCPC and CSP Codes of Professional Conduct, and work in line with all areas of CSP Core Standards of Practice.
*To work as part of a multidisciplinary team, recognising the skills of those health care professionals and referring where necessary to provide the best overall experience for your patients.
*To fully understand the wider Integrated MSK service and local MSK pathways: across primary care, secondary care and the voluntary sector, including in depth knowledge of referral criteria and scope of services.
*Proactively build the client base , ensuring appropriate retention of patients.
*Work closely with the Senior Clinical Director to deliver research and development of specialist programmes
*To lead a team of 4 Physiotherapists
*Monitor and evaluate staff training to comply with CPD requirements.
*To oversee the delivery of weekly IST in line with staff training requirements.
*Provide immediate feedback and action in relation to managing staff performance and attendance issues in a way that adheres to the principles of open communication, company values and behaviours and the need to meet business requirements and contractual KPI's.
*Maintain excellent customer service relationships with staff and patients
*KPI management and reporting.
*Assessing staff training needs in line with CQC training requirements, evidence based practice and assessment and treatment protocols designed for specialist clinic programmes.
*Develop and encourage staff motivation and teamwork in accordance with practice values
*To work closely with the Practice Manager to ensure the values of the clinic are reflected across all areas.
*Undertake clinical audits in line with company policy.
*Conduct annual performance reviews and agree competency frameworks for achievement.
*Conduct appropriate investigations, manage participant call backs in the resolution of clinical practice complaints in line with practice complaints procedure.
*To develop and maintain relationships with referral sources such as GPs, consultants, health professionals within the local community.
*To communicate clearly, concisely and sensitively with patients, visitors and staff.
*To maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
*To organise own time and prioritise workloads as required within the demands of a busy clinic.
*To undertake a DBS check.
