This is a chance for the successful candidate to be a part of a team of people with the goal of making a difference in a young child's life. You will be based at a Physiotherapy Centre that provides intensive physiotherapy programmes for disabled children aged 3-16, and the centre is one of only a handful of independent UK therapy centres offering specialist equipment and therapeutic exercises.
No previous Paedaitric experience is required as our client is looking to train and develop the right candidate.
Your role will be to promote and provide best practice specialist in-depth assessment and interventions for children and young people with a variety of exceptionally complex physical, sensory and communication needs. You will plan and implement interventions, formulating specialist treatment plans, whilst monitoring and evaluating outcomes for each individual client to ensure clinical effectiveness. Using best principles and practise of physiotherapy, you will assess and provide interventions that improve physical conditions, optimising the service user's ability and promoting the service users independent function in daily life.
You will be required to develop and carry out treatment plans specific to the patients core needs using Spider Therapy, TheraSuit Method®, LokoHelp Electromechanical Gait Trainer as well as traditional methods of physiotherapy. There will be training provided on all equipment which will give you the opportunity to develop your own caseloads.
To be considered for this role you must have a degree in Physiotherapy , CSP and HCPC registration. It is essential you have experience of working as a Physiotherapist
