Based in East Sussex this job is an opportunity for an experienced Neuro Physiotherapist (Physio) seeking a position within a specialist neuro rehabilitation organisation.

The company has been providing Neuro rehabilitation services since 1984 following Local Health Authority’s recognition that support was lacking for those individuals with acquired brain injuries. The company prides itself on being recognised as one of the UK's finest providers of support for individuals with acquired brain injuries, and the latest acquisition of its unit in East Sussex has added to the ongoing expansion of their services.

As the Physiotherapist you will be responsible for assessing clients, planning and implementing group work and 1:1 interventions. You will actively participate in Care and Rehabilitation Reviews and MDT meetings, supporting Rehabilitation Support Workers delivering formal and informal training and support as necessary.

In this role your responsibilities will include:

• To undertake PT assessments for a designated caseload, addressing performance and skill deficits, enabling the client in areas of self-maintenance, productivity and leisure. Respiratory Management will be required for clients with tracheostomy.
• To work with clients to identify PT goals as part of the overall care/rehabilitation plan
• To plan and implement individual and/or group interventions, in collaboration with the client, using graded activity to achieve therapeutic goals.
• To monitor and evaluate treatment in order to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of the intervention and to assess clients whilst within the community.

To be considered for the job you will be a qualified Physiotherapist with current HPC registration, possess extensive of working with people with a range of neurological conditions, in particular those with complex disability and acquired brain injury and have the ability to work single-handedly with individuals and in groups
