This a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Physio looking for a new challenge in the London area.
Our client is a clinical stakeholder organisation established to provide a wide range of clinical and managerial services within both the private and public healthcare sectors. After many years experience of working in a wide variety of health settings, their unique and flexible approach allows them to offer bespoke healthcare provision and management solutions to their clients.
*To manage a case load of patients with complex pain with varying diagnoses and/or highly complex needs, using evidence based/patient-centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in a defined clinical area.
*To perform assessments of patients with diverse presentations, complex physical and psychosocial elements of chronic pain conditions. To diagnose then formulate and deliver specific treatment programmes within the service pathways.
*To clinically lead the pain service within Healthshare-London and lead all physiotherapists in co-ordinating and delivering pain management within the service.
*To provide expertise in the management of musculoskeletal pain patients and provide an advisory service to patients and other healthcare professionals, GP's and Consultants.
*To actively participate in clinical governance as required and act as lead for policies and protocols involving medicines management.
To be considered for this post you must have:
*Member of the CSP
*BSc in Physiotherapy
*MSc or working towards post-graduate qualification.
*Pain/Orthopaedic musculoskeletal postgraduate training.
*Knowledge in Pain Management Programmes
*Training on interpreting musculoskeletal investigations and Blood tests
*5 years MSK experience and at least 2 years as band 7 or above
*Previous work experience in pain management including pain clinics or community pain service or as a pain ESP
*Experience of requesting and interpreting musculoskeletal radiological investigations and blood tests
*Experience of Quality and Audit and how to implement change.
*Experience of working as a team and implementing clinical pathways in MSK or pain
*Clinical Supervision and teaching experience
