Physiotherapy jobs 'demand communication between staff'
Friday 27th August 2010
An expert has described how physiotherapy jobs necessitate strong communicational skills.
Kirsten Lord, who founded the Physiotherapy Centre, explained how her team of staff bring together a range of professional attributes designed to suit each patient's needs.
She said that in order to satisfy the criteria of every person who visits the centre, "communication between the therapists is key".
Ms Lord added the facility has hit upon a successful formula because they "understand each others' strengths ... [and] provide a service which meets our patients' exact needs".
The specialist noted that although physiotherapists, chiropractors and osteopaths are familiar with the same conditions, they all use different areas of expertise in order to deal with the symptoms.
Anyone on the lookout for UK medical jobs might also be interested to learn that staff at The Physiotherapy Centre - which has branches in Glasgow and Edinburgh - are registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Health Professions Council.
