Physiotherapists benefiting from revamped centre
Friday 18th June 2010
A number of people with jobs as physiotherapists are working in a medical centre that has undergone a revamp.
The BMI Three Shires hospital has been refitted under the terms of a project costing £3 million, the Northampton Chronicle & Echo reports.
Recently, the facility, which is run by BMI Healthcare - a firm that is a provider of acute surgical services and has centres located around the UK - celebrated the completion of the work.
Among the developments was the establishment of a physiotherapy department complete with a gymnasium.
Commenting on the work, Paul McPartlan, executive director of the hospital, said: "I think it is important we provide the right facilities, from consultants to physiotherapy and surgery, all under one roof."
He added that the work went smoothly with minimum disruption to patients.
Mr McPartlan went on to say the company is looking forward to its next project, which is to refit the first floor.
