Physiotherapist receives praise after helping football fan

A physiotherapist has received commendation after assisting a football fan who collapsed during a recent game.
Clive Rowlands was watching a Sidmouth Chiefs versus Paignton league match last month when he suffered medical problems, the Sidmouth Herald reports.
Sidmouth team physiotherapist Vicky Wilkins responded quickly to the situation and administered first aid.
She also called an ambulance and remained with the patient, providing continuing treatment to him until the paramedic team arrived.
Mr Rowlands has since been released from hospital and is recovering at home.
A letter was sent by Paignton RFC thanking the medical professional for her help.
It made reference to the "the professional and efficient way in which she dealt with the incident."
Last month, it was revealed that car accident victim Aaron Timms, who was once told he would never walk again due to the damage he sustained, has regained the use of his legs and now intends to become a physiotherapist.
