Fundraising event for physiotherapy equipment

Physiotherapy job workers and patients at Seeley's House respite and day centre may soon be benefiting from the use of a new trampoline.

The south Buckinghamshire facility, which caters to patients with learning as well as physical disabilities, is celebrating its 25th anniversary and plans to hold its biggest annual Christmas fair to mark the occasion as well as raise funds to make improvements, the Buckinghamshire Advertiser reported.

Friends of Seeleys House chairman Liz Addison commented: "The Christmas fair this year will be a great day out for all the family and a brilliant opportunity to bag some unique Christmas gifts."

As well as buying the new trampoline, she added that the proceeds from the event, held on Saturday November 28th, will go towards building a sensory garden.

Stalls will sell things like books, plants, toys and clothes, with face painting and refreshments available for children, at an entry fee of £1 for adults and free for kids.
