Lloyds TSB to fund new medical centre
Tuesday 30th June 2009
Lloyds TSB is to provide funding to help a medical centre move from its current premises to a bigger venue.
Because of the increased size of the facility the White House Surgery in Sheffield is moving to, it will double the number of consulting rooms it offers.
Among the additional services it is to provide are physiotherapy, minor surgery, counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy.
The new health centre will be able to provide care to an extra 600 people, taking its total patient list to 6,000.
Commenting on the development, Dr Richard Watton from the White House Surgery said: "All parties involved worked extremely hard to make the acquisition and construction of the property possible."
The partners at the medical facility used Lloyds TSB Commercial to secure the necessary loan of £1.6 million.
Part of the Lloyds TSB Group, Lloyds TSB Commercial has been in operation for more than 40 years and claims to currently provide funding to over 14,000 business in the UK.
