New clinic offering podiatry services to open

A new medical which will offer a range of services, including podiatry, is to open in Harrow.

The Pinn Medical Centre is relocating from its current site on Eastcote Road to a purpose-built facility on Love Lane, the Harrow Times reports.

As well as podiatry, the centre will offer physiotherapy, cardiology, dermatology and orthopaedic treatment, among other things.

In addition, there will be an on-site pharmacy for patients to use.

Practice leader Dr Amol Kelshiker emphasised that the new facility is not a polyclinic.

He said: "It is actually what a general practice should be like in 2009. We are trying to provide what we feel could provide safely and more appropriately to the local community."

The centre is set to open on May 5th.

Recently, TheAdvertiser24 reported that a new medical facility costing £2 million is to open in Yarmouth in 2010. Work on the building is underway.
