Boy given special physiotherapy equipment

A youngster has been given special equipment to assist his physiotherapy.
Three-year-old Ryan Bristow was born with left side of his brain malformed and suffered from epilepsy as a result, the St Albans & Harpenden Review reports.
He underwent major surgery last year in order to reduce the number of seizures he suffers from.
Thanks to a donation from national charity Caudwell Children, his family received an adapted tricycle worth nearly £1,000.
His mother, Rebecca Bristow, said: "He is always smiling when he is on it and we hope by getting his physiotherapy in a fun way it will help develop the use of his right hand side."
She added the family would not have been able to get the equipment without assistance from the charity.
Ryan has appointments with trained physiotherapists every three weeks, with additional check-ups four times a year at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Registered in March 2000, Caudwell Children donates treatment, therapy, specialised equipment and holidays to sick children in the UK.
