Medical jobs may be created in Knutsford

A number of medical jobs may be created in Knutsford if plans for a new health centre go ahead.
The facility would have floor space covering around 60,000 square feet over two storeys, the Knutsford Guardian reports.
The company behind the proposals is GPI. According to the organisation's regional director, Andrew Caldwell, the centre would be "the most important building" in the area for a long time.
He added: "There isn't a building in Knutsford that's this big."
During a recent meeting, GPI revealed it is looking at 15 potential sites for the centre, a number which it now intends to whittle down to three.
Earlier this year, Hospital Development revealed that a new health facility in East Lothian, Scotland, is to be constructed.
The centre, which is to cost around £21 million to construct, will provide a number of services, such as podiatry, physiotherapy and speech and language therapy.
