New physiotherapy business opens in Alness

In news which may be welcomed by people seeking physiotherapy jobs, a new business providing the service has been opened in Alness, Scotland.
Qualified physiotherapist Jennifer Stevenson recently opened the doors of her practice, which is situated in the Averon Centre, the Ross-Shire Journal reports.
The 26-year-old, who is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, said: "I moved to Ross-shire with my husband and daughter five months ago and plans for starting my own business are really taking off."
Ms Stevenson is also registered with the Health Professions Council.
Meanwhile, a number of people with physiotherapy jobs England are to benefit from the replacement of an old medical centre with a new-build, the Gloucestershire Gazette recently reported.
Set to house a range of treatment rooms, the facility is to cost £12 million and will provide a range of services, including physiotherapy and radiography. It will also have a pharmacy.
