Contracts Coordinator starts training for London Triathlon!

2011 Virgin Active London Triathlon –

Today marks the start of a gruelling year-long training regime for our very own contracts co-ordinator Michael Crossley in preparation for the 2012 Virgin Active London Triathlon.

Michael kicked off his training today with an 8 mile cycle (each way) on the commute to work and also included a lunchtime gym session. Super fit Michael will be dedicating most of his free time to an intensive training and swim programme, in order to stand a chance at completing the 1500m Swim / 40km Bike / 10km Run!

Michael has entered into the Mixed Olympic Group Triathlon event, which takes place on the 23rd September 2012, in a bid to raise money and awareness for his chosen charity; Epilepsy Action; an organisation which is very much close to his heart. Michael, sponsored by The Placement Group, aims to hit a target of £2,500 for the worthy cause and is hopeful to complete the course in approx. 2.45hrs!

Michael, who has been a long standing member of staff for over 6 year’s will be keeping a video diary throughout the coming year, so watch out for updates of his progress and preparation for the event.
